HIV/AIDS Programs

Project WAITT provides the following programs:

• Rental Assistance
• Mortgage Assistance
• Utilities Assistance (electric, gas, telephone, and water)
• 18 bed Transitional Housing (on-site living facility)
• Nutrition Counseling
• Health Education/Wellness Counseling
• Permanent Housing Placement

The services are provided to clients living in Fort Bend, Liberty, Montgomery, Chambers, Waller and Harris counties.

Clients are referred to the program by an HIV service provider, a Case Manager or by individual contacts.

Brentwood Cottages
A transitional housing facility for men living with HIV.  The housing facility consists of three residential units offering home-style living accommodations.

This program responds to the needs of those facing homelessness whom have exhausted all other financial avenues.

Health Education / Wellness Counseling
Assist groups and individuals with basic health education related to HIV disease.

Nutrition Counseling
A licensed dietitian provides services that include weight change assessments, and meal preparation and selection suggestions. Education is provided on diet history, planning and ways to calculate nutritional requirements, related to specific medication regimens.
